We had a dog when I was a kid, looked just like Bitey, right down to the eyebrows. She had 3 brown paws and her front left paw was white, so we called her Southpaw, or Southie. Someone told us she was an English Springer Spaniel, but I don't know, we got her from the pound.
Oh, I would miss Bitey, too. So sorry for your loss. My dog of 13 years died earlier this year, and while I know she had a good run, I just expect her to be there sometimes still. I miss her.

ReplyDeleteThanks, guys. He died the best way possible for a dog his age. On the bed, in his sleep, after a fine happy day.
ReplyDeleteHey Mark,
ReplyDeleteI just saw this post and wanted to pass along my sympathies. Great looking dog and a swell name.
We lost out 16.5 year old boy a little over a year ago and we still miss. Dogs rule.
